The Downfall of Troy
There is NO way that I could ever write something to do this day justice, but I’ll try! The day started off with ESPN’s College Game Day broadcasting, for the first time EVER, from App’s campus in Boone NC! Everyone there had the same beautiful energy and showed the world just how much our community loves and supports our hometown heroes. After the broadcast ended there was still enough time to really finish out tailgating and everyone was eager to watch ASU play Troy. 3:30pm hit and the game was underway. App scored pretty quickly and kept Troy at bay for most of the game. In the 4th quarter, Troy pulled ahead and it got a LOT more tense in Kidd Brewer Stadium. With just TWO SECONDS to go, Chase Brice threw a hailmary and APP SCORED!!! It was a dream come true, App won against Troy, 32-28! It will, hands down, go in the record books as a HISTORICAL game!
